Lichtenberg figures - Scars after being struck by lightning.

my mum and a few of her cousins have been struck by lightning. they all have these sort of scars. although my mum’s has faded quite a bit. when people tell me that i’m more likely to get struck by lightning than blah blah blah i often tell them to re-consider that

A “Sky Scarf” documents the weather outside your window.

Each day you will knit a stripe in colors that match the sky. It will be lovely to see our different climates create different scarves! I started mine in the beginning of April in Oakland, CA and you can see my progress in the photo at left. This pattern makes a 5-foot scarf over the course of one year.

What a fabulous idea! I might try this next year, once I’m over all the Christmas knitting I have overcommitted myself to ;)

I’m totally doing this. I’m going to start it Jan. 01 and document 2012. It’ll be awesome.

Kinda cute, would be fun to try this.

I really want to do this, but I’d have to get a lot of yarn I suspect. And how many rows per day? This might be a February project.
